ZH goes all-in on draconian FBI:

Sauce Alert: ZH links to a document on a scribd account. Document not authorized for public release, so it would by nature be somewhat suspect. Well written, seems plausible, but sauce should be considered unverified until sufficiently confirmed by FBI or known trustworthy sources citing confidential informants.

Agree sauce remains weak.

Snopes SHOULDN'T be used as a source, but document purports to have been issued out of a single field office, Phoenix FBI, not headquarters. And I recall some dudes even in HQ named Strzok and McCabe who would might be willing to claim Snopes as credible.

Some of us remember similar LE bulletins under BHO targeting people with Ron Paul bumper stickers, etc. They turned out to be the real deal.

Some keywords from document for profiling a group as likely domestic terrorists: QAnon, Researchers, False Flags, Conspiracy Theories, PizzaGate

(confirms this memo is probably mostly about us)

Interestingly, they choose to classify QAnon and Pizzagate as the sole entries under the subheading "Fringe Political"

They do sort-of grudgingly admit that some real conspiracies have turned out to be real, but then postulate that these [rare] true conspiracies are possibly what has fueled the rise of [extremist] internet conspiracy cultures.

If the document is genuine, and this Anon tends to think that it is, we will likely get confirmation from reporters we tend to trust, like Solomon and Carter. This might even force the Fibbers to acknowledge it. Hopefully some swamp creatures in Phoenix will get sacked.

Yahoo News broke the story (as far as MSM goes, anyway). The Hill, also reporting, doesn't specify further confirmation, however, while citing Yahoo story.

Favorite phrase from story: ...QAnon, a shadowy network that believes in a deep state conspiracy against President Trump....

Kek. Yahoo Schmahoo.

What we have from FBI is a non-denial sort of confirmation:

The FBI Phoenix field office referred Yahoo News to the bureau’s national press office, which provided a written statement.

“While our standard practice is to not comment on specific intelligence products, the FBI routinely shares information with our law enforcement partners in order to assist in protecting the communities they serve,” the FBI said.

In its statement, the FBI also said it can “never initiate an investigation based solely on First Amendment protected activity. As with all of our investigations, the FBI can never monitor a website or a social media platform without probable cause.”

The Department of Homeland Security, which has also been involved in monitoring domestic extremism, did not return or acknowledge emails and phone requests for comment.
