Military Situation In Syria On November 25, 2020 (Map Update)

A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:

On November 25, Russia reported that Idlib militants violated the ceasefire regime in Greater Idlib 31 times: 21 – in Idlib province, 2 – in Aleppo province, 7- in Latakia province, 1 – in Hama province;

On November 24, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) carried out a new arrest campaign raiding Department 8 in al-Hol Camp and arresting several people;

On November 24, 5 civilians were killed and 13 others were wounded in a car-bomb explosion in Afrin city;

On November 24, Turkish forces began preparations for the withdrawal from the observation point in the “Al-Rashideen” area, west of Aleppo;

On November 24, 21 Turkish-backed militants were reportedly killed in an SDF ambush near Ain Issa;

Late on November 24, Israeli warplanes struck targets at al-Mani’ mountain and Ruweihina village with several missiles. Syrian air defense forces reportedly intercepted serveral missiles.
